Editor: The Charlotte County school referendum is getting ready for renewal this November and we need the community to understand the importance of this continuing. We have seen huge steps forward in our school system over the past four years and we can’t afford to go backwards.

These funds are making for a much stronger education system for the children of Charlotte County, which is an important part of what helps a community thrive. This isn’t a new tax or in any way additional than what we’re already been paying these last four years. Whether you have children or not, this does have a positive impact on you as well.
